What Is Parge Docu AI?
Parge Docu AI is an application installed into your own Microsoft environment, and it runs inside Power Apps and Dynamics 365. A user selects a file from an existing SharePoint document library, asks a question in Turkish or English, and gets an answer drawn from that document. No separate portal, upload step or content migration is needed.
It is built for teams that carry a heavy reading load: legal teams looking for contractual provisions, engineering units checking technical specifications, and operations teams that consult procedures every day. Every access is limited to the permissions the user already holds in SharePoint.

The document is read directly in your browser. No separate copy of the file is made, and answers arrive faster.
For large and scanned files
Reading in the Microsoft cloud
Documents the browser cannot read, such as files over 15 MB and scanned PDFs, are processed in the Microsoft cloud with no action on your part. The file is taken directly from SharePoint, and the screen shows which method is in use.

With AI tools that work on documents, the real risk is where content is processed and on whose behalf it is accessed. Parge Docu AI answers both by design.
Identity and permissions
Every question is verified with a time-limited session key tied to the signed-in user. Because identity is read from this key, tampering with a request cannot be used to act as another user. Access rights are also checked every time with SharePoint's own permission check.
No data stored, limited rights
No document content, question or answer is saved anywhere. The system holds session keys only; they expire after 180 minutes and are deleted daily. The app does not ask for full administrator rights and runs with two limited roles defined for this purpose. All traffic runs over encrypted connections.

Processing takes place on Microsoft infrastructure according to the region settings of your organization's Microsoft environment. Pargesoft has no access to document content, questions or answers, and the app sends no usage data to Pargesoft.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Pargesoft see our documents?
No. The application runs in your own Microsoft 365 and Power Platform environment. Pargesoft has no access to document content, questions or answers, does not store them, and receives no usage data from the application.
Are our documents used to train AI models?
No. Pargesoft does not use customer data to train any model. Microsoft also states that the questions, document content and answers sent to its AI are not used to train its foundation AI models.
Can a user read a document they are not entitled to see?
No. Before any content is shown, every question checks the user's access rights in SharePoint. The permission model that applies in SharePoint applies in Parge Docu AI in exactly the same way.
Can I ask questions about scanned PDFs?
Yes. The application detects a scanned PDF automatically and processes it in the Microsoft cloud. Answer quality depends on how much text can be recovered from the images, so searchable PDFs whose text can be selected generally give better results.
How are costs incurred?
Each question consumes AI Builder credits or Copilot Credits based on the amount of text processed. Because the whole document is submitted, consumption is driven mainly by document length. You can monitor it in Microsoft's admin screen; we recommend starting with a small group of users.
Do we need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license?
No. Parge Docu AI needs Power Apps and Power Automate licenses, SharePoint Online, and AI Builder credits or Copilot Credits allocated to the environment.
How is it different from Copilot in SharePoint?
Copilot in SharePoint works across sites and libraries with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, and it also respects SharePoint permissions. Parge Docu AI focuses on the single document the user selects and can be opened to users without a Copilot license. The two can complement each other.
Which file types are supported, and how long can a document be?
PDF, Word (.docx), TXT, CSV and Markdown are supported. Up to 200,000 characters are processed per document, roughly 60 to 80 pages of dense text. Longer documents show a warning, and answers reflect only the processed part.
Can several documents be compared at the same time?
No. In the current version one document is active at a time. Selecting another document clears the previous one from memory and loads the new one.
Which languages can I use?
Turkish and English. Documents in other languages can also be processed, with answer quality depending on the underlying model.
Is conversation history saved?
No. Extracted text and answers are cleared when you change documents, refresh the page or close the tab. Nothing is kept between sessions, and the source documents remain untouched in SharePoint.
How long does installation take, and which licenses are needed?
Installing the solution typically takes 5 to 15 minutes; connections, workflows and user permissions are configured afterwards. Users need Power Apps, Power Automate, a Microsoft 365 plan with SharePoint Online, and AI Builder credits or Copilot Credits in the environment.
