With a history dating back to before the founding of the Republic, Silkar Holding is one of Turkey’s most well-established institutions. Operating under a holding structure since 1976, Silkar Holding A.Ş. today leads the way in many sectors, primarily agricultural and industrial equipment, automotive spare parts, and natural granite and marble. Since the 1860s, Silkar Holding has continually renewed itself in line with market dynamics and new business models. Silkar Holding was struggling to manage its processes effectively enough with a closed, traditional ERP system. The demands of the times and the needs of next-generation communication had become impossible to meet with this type of system.

Wanting to better serve the markets it operates in and achieve efficiency by managing its processes more effectively, Silkar Holding decided to switch to a Windows-based system for this purpose. This is how it came to know Pargesoft.

Noting that they began working with Pargesoft during the transition from a local system to a Microsoft ERP, Silkar Holding A.Ş. IT Manager Engin Öztürk says, “Microsoft’s ERP and CRM solution portfolio offers an open-source infrastructure. This makes it possible to carry out all kinds of development and customization on top of it. We have Pargesoft carry out the developments specific to the sector we serve.”

The second phase following the ERP transformation was to improve Customer Relationship Management (CRM) processes. Once again, Silkar Holding’s choice was Pargesoft. Stating that they work in harmony with their solution partner, Öztürk explains, “We got positive results from the work we did for ERP. We’re glad we chose Pargesoft. That’s why we continue to receive consulting services from Pargesoft for both the development and implementation phases of CRM.”

Explaining that they needed to develop their customer relationship management processes specific to the sector they operate in, Öztürk says, “We are a company working in the automotive and natural stone sectors. We have a large number of customers, and we believe that tracking them will be much more effective with CRM.”

As a result of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM integration carried out in partnership with Pargesoft, Silkar Holding now manages its customer portfolio across different markets far more efficiently and effectively on a centralized infrastructure.
